  12. This archive contains a demo of the AWeb-II WWW browser version 3.2.
  13. The demo has a number of features disabled compared to the full version.

  17. IMPORTANT

  20. If you want to try the demo before installing it, make sure you double-
  21. click the "MakeAssign" icon. If you fail to run this, page headers in the
  22. demo will be shown in ugly blocky characters. By default the demo uses the
  23. 'times' and 'courier' fonts in sizes that didn't came with your WorkBench.

  30. AWeb-II is a fast and powerful World Wide Web browser for the Amiga computer.
  31. It supports virtually all widely used HTML including JavaScript.

  37. REQUIREMENTS
  38. ------------

  40. AWeb needs:
  41.  o OS 3.0 or better.
  42.  o At least 2MB of memory as an absolute minimum. 3 MB or more is
  43.    highly recommended.
  44.  o Either AmiTCP/IP, I-Net225 or AS-225 if you want to access the Internet,
  45.    or a TCP stack that is compatible with one of these. Examples of
  46.    compatible products are Miami and TermiteTCP.
  47.  o Appropriate picture datatypes (GIF, JPEG) to show inlined images.
  48.  o The ClassAct GUI kit (included in the full distribution, not in this
  49.    demo).

  56. THIS DEMO VERSION

  59. This demo version shows pages exactly like the full version does, but
  60. many additional features are disabled in this demo. Most important
  61. missing features are:
  62. - the demo doesn't use multiple windows. Note that when a page has a
  63.   link to another document in a new window, this demo version will not
  64.   open a new window. The full version will.
  65. - the demo doesn't read or save your hotlist.
